Disinfectant cleansing agents and detergents - contg. anion-active alpha-sulpho fatty acid ester salt tenside and cation-active tenside

Detergents and cleansing agents contain a mixt. of (1) an anion-active tenside consisting of at least one alpha-sulpho-fatty acid ester salt R-CH(SO3M)-COOR', (I), (where R is 8-20C alkyl; R' is 1-8C alkyl, M is valency of an alkali metal, NH4 or an organic NH4 base and sum of C in R and R' is 24), and (2) a cation-active tenside consisting of a water-soluble surface active NH4 cpd., pref. contng, an aliphatic 10-20C hydrocarbyl and 3 aliphatic or aromatic gps., or an N-contng. =10C heterocycle. Wt. ratio (1): (2) is 10 : 1 to 1 : 1 (5 : 1 to 3 :2). The compsns. are used for disinfectant cleaning of textiles, sanitary installations, and medical instruments, and washing of skin and hair. Treated hair has antistatic properties. (i) The compsns. have equal or superior bactericidal activity and improved cleansing properties, e.g. w.r.t. compsns. contng. di-Na salts of hydrogenated fatty acids, and (ii) form no pptes. in aq. soln.
