The push-button has a centre aperture in the top cover of its housing for a push shaft with a switching shoe, held by a spring normally inan OFF position, in which the shoe is situated above two contacts in the bottom of the switch housing with outer terminals. The pressure shoe has a transverse recess retaining a coiled spring forming a bridging contact. The spring end turns are tangentially bent in opposite directions, which provide the bridging of the stationary contacts of the switch housing. The recess walls of the shoe are provided with holders supporting from below the moving spring ends, holding them in such position that they abut elastically the stationary contacts when the shoe is pressed down. Preferably the shoe has guides parallel to the spring ends for support on the opposite switch housing walls.
