The holder and dispenses for tablets, such as sweetening tablets, is a flat, rectangular box shape, covered by a lid, the base of the bos sloping upwards at one end so that a gap is formed between its horizontal upper surface and the under side of the lid, of about the thickness of a tablet. A small gap is formed at one end of this upper surface, so that when the lid is slid back against a spring until a strip is reached, there is sufficient space to dispense the tablet which fits this gap.
