Polarity discriminator for capacitor with unidirectional leads - has angular tool for leads separation, contact sensor and earthing terminal

The capacitor polarities are discerned by a device, having a clamping jaw arrangement for the capacitor holding and an angular tool for angularly displacing the capacitor lead wires extending in the same direction. A contact probe and an earth terminal can be brought into contact with the lead wires. The contact probe touching one angularly displaced lead wire may be fed by a high frequency current. The angular tool consists of an upper and a lower tool part, the latter having two stops for bringing the bent-out lead wires together. In the region of these stops may be provided guide slots for the lead wires, when the tool is being applied.
