Electric air heater for welding thermoplastics - with air in one longitudinal and one outer spiral stream mixed together

Air is blown into the heating chamber where it splits into two streams. One stream flows down radially distributed longitudinal slots, the other flows along the path between the turns of a peripheral spiral guide. The streams mix together more turbulently as they proceed away from the handle, thus extracting max. heat from a central heat source before issuing out of a nozzle at the end. Pref. the spiral stream has a vol. than that through the slots.
