Loading mechanism and transporter for heavy components - has load carrier mounted on telescopic support structure

This loading and transporting arrangement is used especially on loading components int a treatment plant, for example in loading components into the pressure vessel of a sterilization plant. In the transporting position the load supporting trolley carries the full weight of the load on a frame which is supported on all corners. On loading into the pressure vessel of a sterilization plant the load carrying platform overhangs and enters the presure vessel together with the load. The carriage in this case is in the retracted position. The load carrying trolley has vertical legs and swivelling wheels. The front wheels are supported by vertical members connected to a locking device on the side rail of the trolley platform. When the load on the trolley is going to be pushed into the pressure vessel then the lock is released and the vertical members are pushed towards the rear wheel supports and the platform rails overhang and the load enters the pressure vessel.
