Remote control receiver has preliminary tester for decoders - to prevent incorrect reception of instruction telegrams

The remote control receiver has a means of preventing incorrect reception of an instruction telegram which may then be used as an erroneous reference for comparing with other received instructions. Different categories of incoming information are passed to different address decoders. Each decoder has a control memory that responds when its decoder is occupied. All control memories are coupled to a testing system that tests the receiver with test pulses at the beginning of each received pulse telegram. A coincidence gate receives the output signals from alternately-responding control memories. A NOR gate may be used to produce either logical '1' or '0' signals.
