The chassis for an agricultural machine is especially for inclined work, with wheels hinged to a frame where the frame has a main wheel whose shaft is connected to a working drive, and a pivotable wheel, whose axle journal is supported so that it can turn on a vertical spigot and is connected with a hydraulic cylinder. An auxiliary wheel is also hinged to the frame and its axis of rotation (A) is normal to the axis of rotation (B) of the main wheel. The axle spigot of the pivotable wheel is hinged to the hydraulic cylinder, which is hinged to a first pivot arm, which is fitted to the frame with the aid of a first support pin and is provided with the vertical spigot.
