An agricultural machine has shafts for coupling to a tractor, a ,ain beam (10) to which the working tools are attached, and a two wheel chassis (12, 14) supporting the beam (10). The chassis frame (14) is attached towards the rear of the beam (10) where it pivots on a horizontal axle (36). A long rod (18) with one end fixed to the top end of the chassis frame (14a) and its other end to a vertical stay (20) attached to the tractor end of the beam (10), is adjustable for lenght. By this means an adjustment of the angle of the chassis relative to the main beam (10) is possible depending upon the height of the trailer coupling on the tractor. USE/ADVANTAGE - The main beam runs parallel to the ground and remains steady over uneven ground.
