摘要
N-paraffins are isolated from hydrocarbon mixts. by adsorption on a mol. sieve with a pore size of ca 5 angstroms, desorption in the gas phase with MeOH vapour, and condensn. and phase sepn. of the vapour mixt. Adsorption is pref. carried out in the gas phase on a mol. sieve deactivated w.r.t. the decompsn. of MeOH, esp. by impregnating with 2-10 wt.% (calcd. as NeOH) of an alkaline soln. Adsorption, scavenging and desorption are pref. carried out at 250-350 degrees C, esp. 260-320 degrees C. The desorbed prod. is pref. washed with H2O to remove residual MeOH. The process is esp. for sepg. 10-20C n-paraffins, e.g. from gas oil or kerosene.
