The recording material comprises a top layer formed on a coloured material (i.e. paper or film) which is scraped off with a recording pen. A fibrous substance and/or a thermoplastic resin (e.g. vinyl resin) are dissolved in a mixed solvent of ratio 1:0-1, solvent:diluent then a white agent is blending into the soln. to form a coating liq. This agent is CaCO3 treated with stearic acid to make it completely dispersable in the org. solvents. Finally thin liquid is coated onto the paper and dreid under dry heated air to form a white layer of high quality.
