Air filter for radiant gas heating panels - used in buildings for intensive livestock rearing

A filter, to remove dust from air supply to a radiant gas heating panel; closed at the top and with an axial downward outlet; comprises concentric coaxial screens, the mesh sizes of which decrease in the direction of radial flow. Pref. the outer screen is coned, so that dust collecting inside, gravitates towards its junction with the inner screen; and an intermediate screen is fitted in upper section, to deflect fine dust away from the inner screen. The rate of filter blockage is reduced, and the outer and inner screens are easily dismantled to facilitate cleaning.
