Improvements to cassette-reel film projectors - stops displacement of film in flat type projectors when using reel

Device for maintaining film on reel in flat type film projectors, consists of a guide piece mounted on the frame of the projector (1), near the reel spindle (2) in a slit (4). The guide piece (5) has a tongue which is inserted in the slit (4) thus holding the guide piece on the projector. The guide piece has ribs which press against the top of the projector wall (9), acting as clamps on the wall. The guide piece has also a flange (10) in the form of an arc, which follows the reel profile when the guide piece is mounted on the projector. Spacing between the reel and the flange (10) is such that there is no friction. Slots (12) and (13) enable the guide piece (5) to be locked in position when the projector is fitted inside a cover.
