Two triangular shaped side frames (19), with spacer bars (16) between, form a housing for the motor (22), the driving pulley (30) and belt (29) and the driven pulley (28) and shaft (27), the latter running in bearings (26). This shaft is connected to an extension shaft (35) by means of universal joints (32, 34) and powers the rotating disc cutting head (36). Cutting blades (38) fit in radial slots (37) in the head. A tubular framework extension boom (23) with bearings (24, 25) fits to one side of the motor housing and supports the shaft. The complete unit bolts onto an adapter bar (12) pivoting at the end of lifting arms (3) which are operated by cylinders (6) from the tractor hydraulic system.
