A number of sets of documents or a set of magazines can be housed between covers by clipping a U shaped spring clip (2) onto the edge of each document set or onto the spine of each magazine (1), and securing all the clips together to form a stack by strips (3) which are interposed between the inside of the clips and the spines to form zig-zag folds. Two or more of these strips may be used, and covers (7) can be inserted between the outermost clips and the outermost magazines. A small length of strip (5) is allowed to protrude when the first magazine is inserted, and the length of the other end (6) decreases as more magazines are added.
