Reinforced asbestos cement sheet production process - main and reinforcing pastes on support form alternate strips

The process produces sheets with reinforced longitudinal strips. Over the width of the zones other than the strips to be reinforced a main paste of fibrous matter and a hydraulic binder is deposited on a movable support. Over the width of the strips to be reinforced a reinforcing paste is deposited of the fibrous matter and hydraulic binder. The two pastes are drained and dried simultaneously. The main paste can be deposited all over the support, and the reinforcing paste afterwards, or vice versa, and the reinforcing paste can be strengthened by increasing the fibre content or its quality, or the density.
