Gyroscopically stabilised centrifuge - has main component with limited rotation about fixed point under adjustable gyroscopic effect

Any oscillatory or vibratory movement is counteracted by an artificial and adjustable gyroscopic effect. This acts constantly via a method of suspension allowing the main component to rotate freely for three degrees about a fixed point. Means can be provided for damping out any anticipatory movement created by the gyroscopic movement. The main component can be mounted on a platform (7) extending horizontally and mounted in turn on a fixed suspension support (1) by a linkage allowing rotation round two axes perpendicular to each other and to that of the main component. The platform is attached to an auxiliary gyroscope (8, 10) running at variable speed on an axis (9) non-adjustable in relation to the platform and perpendicular to the two axes of the latter. The assembly forms a gyroscope of symmetrical construction.
