Annular nozzle arrangement for gas turbine jet engine in which each nozzle wall is inclined at an angle between 30 and 50 degrees at the nozzle outlet plane against the longitudinal axis of the nozzle when viewed in the flow direction so that the flow through the nozzle to the nozzle axis is diverted inside the nozzle and produces a nozzle outlet flow which is inclined at an angle of between 15 and 25 degrees against the nozzle axis. The main jet engine is fitted with an after burner unit the down flow end of which defines a hot gas nozzle and with a blower channel enclosing the main jet engine and with the annular nozzle being defined with the after burner unit of the main jet engine. The walls of the blower channel and of the after burner unit are inclined at the outlet plane of the blower nozzle to produce an included angle of between 30 and 50 degrees.
