The cap has an outer (10) and an inner cylinder (12). A ridge (13) clips it to the container. An L-shaped atomising nozzle (1) is placed in an opening (4) in the inner cylinder and between two guide pieces (5). The central opening (18) of the nozzle fits over the operating piston of the aerosol. The operating lever (8) is attached weakly at its outer end (9) so it can be broken free at its first use. A cam (3) is attached to the lever, so that when the lever is depressed it pushes the nozzle downwards between the guides, opening the valve.
