1390241 Shaping ceramic blanks E SALA 5 May 1972 [8 May 1971] 21055/72 Heading B5A In a device for shaping ceramic cups or dishes, a shaft 11, Figs. 1 and 2, is moved angularly in sequence through a first receiving station in which a carrier 12, 13, 14 receives blanks F, a second position in which the blanks are engaged by rotating shaping tools 44 to a third position in which the shaped blanks are discharged into moulds 33 by pushers 24, 25. The shaft 11 is driven by a motor and carries a carrier sleeve 12 which is connected by crank mechanism 15, 16 to a reciprocable beam 17 which carries cams 20, 21 which co-operate with cams 22, 23 on the shaft 11. The shaft 11 is connected by a chain drive 34 to a shaft 35 which is connected by a cam mechanism 36, 37 to a reciprocable carrier 38 carrying the shaping tools 44 driven by a motor 40.
