1402412 Slide rules for gas chromatography calculations MAGYAR ASVANYOLA ES FOLDGAZ KISERLETI INTEZET 12 Dec 1974 33990/72 Heading G4B A slide rule comprises a first member, Fig. 1, bearing an array of lines radiating from a point (not shown) on an extension (not shown) of the lines marked "n x 100", the array of lines intersecting top and bottom linear scale lines in equidistantly spaced points, and a second member, Fig. 2, bearing logarithmicallyspaced vertical scale lines and equispaced horizontal lines. The two members are intended to be juxtaposed with their longest dimensions parallel for relative movement in the direction of their longest dimensions. In particular, both members may be folded about their centre lines D-D 1 and E-E 1 to form two flattened tubes, the first member being slidably located within the second which is transparent. The rule is for making calculations relating to gas chromatography and formulae and worked examples are given in the Specification for this application.
