Synergistic mixture of adiamine and alkalimetalamide as an antioxidant composition and lubricants containing same

Antioxidant composition comprises a synergistic mixture of a diamine, e.g. N,N,N'-tris-(4-t-octylphenyl)-4-t-octyl-1,2-phenylene diamine, di-DODPA, and an alkali metal derivative of the same or similar diamine. The composition is particularly suitable for use in synthetic ester lubricants.
