The roller skate roller comprises a durable plastic wheel (1) with an embedded and projecting tempered steel tyre (2), a central aperture for axle (6) insertion and regular teeth (9) surrounding this aperture on each flank. The wheel is designed for adaptability to any skating surface with the tyre's bearing surface being square, concave or convex; and the teeth (9) facilitating wheel rotation for tyre rectifying or machining. The wheels are for use mounted freely in alignment on transverse axles (6) carried by boot mounted frames (8). The axle aperture is enlarged by drilling to receive forcibly inserted pairs of roller bearing cages (5), or alternatively one set of roller bearings with a retaining ring can be used.
