System for maintaining a constant liquid flow in a pipe network when there is a fluctuation in the supply pressure. The pressure at inlet will act on a rubber disc (2) or a similar type element. The effect of the disc will be to reduce the cross section of the channel when the pressure increases. The thickness of the disc is at least 1 mm and preferably 2mm and has a Shore hardness number between 85 and 90. An edge strip of the disc of at least 2mm fits along a sealing plane (1c). The flow channel which is in the sealing plane has a rectangular cross section with the width up to about five times the depth.
