The analogue-digital converter comprises a sample holding circuit followed by the converter circuit, with the sampling error due to the fraction sampling gap being determined and memorised as a function of the signal amplitude and the rate of variation of the latter. The resultant output of the converter circuit is corrected by this sampling error in respect of the signal amplitude and rate of variation. Pref. the memorised sampling errors are combined with a complement for compensating the linearity errors of the converter circuit.
