The dome is for use in an electrostatic spray-painting pistol, and is in one piece, consisting of a conical cap (1), to the inside of which cylindrical hub (2) is joined at the apex. The other end of the hub is coupled to a device rotating it on the pistol. The cap can be a straight cone its angle in relation to the hub axis being 60 to 80 deg. There can be a radius between the hub and the cone near its apex, and the edge of the cone can be sharp, so as to cause the paint to disintegrate along it. The free and of the hub can be tapped for coupling to the drive on the pistol, and the dome can be of a stainless steel, being used in conjunction with paint which is electrically conductive.
