N- (fluorodichloromethylthio) -N-trifluoromethyl-anthranilsyrepropylamid as well as method for its preparation and use

Amide of formula (I) is prepd. by reacting corresp. acid fluoride with n-propylamine in presence of acid acceptor. (I) is a fungicide more active than known cpds. of similar structure. It is well tolerated by warm-blooded animals and higher plants and esp. useful for controlling pathogens of potatoes, vegetables, rice, etc. e.g. Phytophthora infestans, Ventura inaequalis, Piricularia oryzae, Pellicularia sasakii, Collectotrichun coffeanum, Botrylis cinerea and Alternaria spp. (I) also has acaricidal activity.
