Novel compounds of the general formula (I) IMAGE and their acid addition salts, in which the substituents have the meaning given in Patent Claim 1, are prepared by reducing the corresponding acid amide compounds of the formula (II) IMAGE The novel compounds of the formula (I) and their salts are valuable anti-diarrhoea agents. They have only slight, if any, analgesic side-effects.
