The flat building component can be a window consisting of glass panels which are arranged to be parallel. The window is especially a thermal insulation window which has two or more glass panels which aree connected at their edges hermetically and held in a frame. The arrangement is suitable also for making windows with a single panel of the making a door. The glazing panels (8) are held in a frame which encloses the edges of parallel paltes with a gap between them. This frame is made from a channel profile (7) cast on the edges of the panels fro hermetic sealing and made pref. From foam plastics. The casting is carried out by enclosing panel edges into a split profiled frame mould (6, 8). The glazing panel edges are held during moulding by a sealing and spacing profile.
