Composite profile for external window sills - is built up from profiles locked together by internal rod

The composite profile is used as a building component, for example as a weatherboard or a sill for prefabricated windows. The profiles used for building up a composite profile are pushed together laterally. Locking members are placed into a groove between the ribs of these profiles in order to prevent separation. One profile forms the lower transverse member of the window frame. The other profile forms the weatherboard and is connected to the frame profile on site by lateral rotating and pushing. These two profiles are locked together by a locking rod which is displaced from the seat between two wedging surfaces. The locking rod can be held in its seat initially by a magnet which is removed after the profiles are joined.
