Narrow gauge transporter for standard gauge wagon - has curved supports for wagon wheels below level of transporter axles

The truck allows rail vehicles of standard gauge to be transported on a narrow-gauge railway without increasing their overall height above the rail and thus causing loading gauge problems. It comprises a chassis (2) running on two axles with narrow-gauge wheels (3) and equipped with supports (5) for the wheels (7) of the standard gauge vehicle. The surfaces (6) of these supports are below the level of the truck axles and they can be concave in shape. The vehicle can be loaded onto the truck by means of a ramp placed on the narrow-gauge track.
