The cap has a sleeve and a cover portion, also a point on the inside of the sleeve portion which is screwed to secure it to the container, particularly a tube. A distance ring (11), which can be sheared off, is mounted on the lower edge (10) of the sleeve nearest the container (8), and its internal diameter is greater than the external diameter of the sleeve lower edge. The ring can be joined to the sleeve by means of lugs (12), and all parts of the cap can be of the same material. The point (6) can have a cylindrical base (61) and a conical or pyramidal tip (63) with a sharp piercing portion.
