The six-phase stator winding consists of three-phase windings which are offset relative to each other through an electrical angle. The like phases of the three-phase windings are wound in opposite directions, so that one three-phase winding is made from left to right and the other three-phase winding from right to left. The terminal leads of the three-phase windings are brought to the outside at various sides of the stator of the electrical machine. The position numbers (1-36) designate the slot numbers of the stator winding. Each winding phase takes in two phase zones.
