Hearth temp measurement for multistage - pyrites roasting furnace

Temp of material bed is quasi-continuously measured and recorded. The furnace has mechanical rabbling and is also for chloridising of pyrites residues. An elbowed thermocouple in a gas-tight protection tube is placed so that one leg is a rotation axis and passes through the furnace wall. The other leg is the probe which dips into the bed, and pivots mechanically upward when the rabbling arm passes, then returns into the material under its own wt. Preferably it can be locked in a position in which the thermocouple is not actuated by the rabbling arm.
