The fuse holding device, which is used for cable distribution cabinets, allows fuses to be replaced in one junction without danger even when the neighbouring junction is 'live'. Each cable junction consists of an insulating intermediate part and a cover at right angles to the bus-bars. The lower part of the arrangement pivots about an axis, parallel to the bus-bars and mounted on the bus-bar assembly, in the same way as the cover pivots. The intermediate part can be removed from the lower part and carries the contacts that connect with one of poles of the fuses.
