Adjustable directional coupler for coaxial cables - uses bendable metal strip as coupling line with screw adjustable attenuation

The directional coupler uses as a coupling line a metal sheet strip in axial direction of the coaxial cable between inner and outer conductor. The ends of the coupling line are connected to the inner conductors of two coaxial connection pillars. The coupling line is held to the outer conductor by means of one or several screws of synthetic material. The screw operating knobs are accessible from the outside of the outer conductor. The screws are held in the outer conductor and are fixed to the coupling line in such a way that activation of the screws changes the distance between the elastic bendable coupling line and the outer conductor. The coupling line is mounted on a base plate.
