A machine for the prodn. of dragees comprises an upwardly sloping endless metal conveyor belt driven by guide pulleys the upper part of which is surmounted by a frame consisting of side walls and end walls the higher-end of the frame having devices which cooperate to lift off any dragees that stick to the belt, pref comprising a convex guide plate with a knife edge contacting the top of the upper part of the belt at a tangent and/or an eccentric vibrator contacting the underside of the upper part of the belt. Excessive press. on the belt (e.g. associated with the use of lateral guide discs) ia avoided thus increasing the life of the belt.
