Excavator scoop tooth held by tension rod - has open seat for tension rod transverse end closed by seat plate

The excavator scoop tooth is inserted by one end into the matching seat on the scoop. The tooth inserted end has a pocket for T shaped tensioning clamping bolt end. The other end of this bolt is held by a nut, wedge or eccenter on the scoop. The tooth is readily replaced and the tensioning clamping bolt is readily removed. The inserted end of the tooth has an opening (12) for the clamping tension rod (6). This opening has sloping side and it has at its bottom seat for the transverse member of the tension rod and the tension member is able to pivot about this transverse member. The opening is closed on one side by the plate (8) of the tooth seat.
