Plastics pipe bend for insulating heating and water pipes - without weld seam to increase insulation, and manufactured in a single process

Plastics insulating pipe bend of dia. 3/8" - 2" is made of a single piece of PVC by an injection moulding tool with core puller which is cooled on the injection side to 12" and on the opening side and on the platen of the injection side to 15 degrees. Injection temp. is within 7 degrees of 210 degrees. The tool comprises a basic mould with interchangeable inserts for different sizes. The core puller is mounted in two halves at the top and bottom of the tool, perpendicularly to the injection nozzle, and uses an injection pressure of 2.5 atm. absolute pressure. The pipe bend has no welding seams or spots on its outer radius.
