Reinforced firebrick spiral for building into chimney - with attached fan, for energy saving by regulation of flue gases

Reinforced firebrick spiral with a regulator (fan) is built into a chimney. The fan is at the end of the spiral as required, deciding the length of the spiral, and also built in inbetween. The size and length of the spiral depend on the chimney pipe; the components are 0.5-2.0 m long. The fan is mounted on a fireclay cone, and can be set in the spiral. This decides the length and dia. of the chimney. In a factory chimney, operation of the fan depends on the thermal loading. The fan can be 2- or 3-bladed. The spiral is mounted and fastened at the chimney head, with rust-protected materials. The whole forms a modular system, for a small house chimney to a large factory chimney. Regulation of the flue gases results in saving of energy.
