Press tool for deep drawing double sink units - holds blank with hydraulic pressure during drawing by single action press

The main patent is for a press tool to produce a double sink unit from sheet metal. This addition to the patent overcomes the need to use a double acting press. The pressure plate supports the die for forming the sink bodies which house the pressure pistons attached to the drawing apparatus. The sheet metal blank is placed in position and the downward motion of the press tool first grips the blank between the plates. Further downward motion forces the punches to form the sink unit whilst the edges of the blank are held by hydraulic pressure in the cylinder which is controlled by a valve.
