The flexible carrier device for electronic circuits is used in small quantity or experimental work where the finished circuit has to take up a small space. A flexible insulating sheet or film has slits (2) in specific places through which the connections on the circuit elements can be pushed. Connecting up is performed with the aid of conventional wiring on the opposite side of the film. The insulation is also provided with preformed folding lines (3), which may consist of lines of perforations. On completion the circuit can then be folded up along these lines and is held in a suitable carrier. The slitting (2) may be unidirectional or on crossing diagonals, and is typically separated by blank areas to allow space between folds.
