The tension-relief clamp, for cables, consists of a two-part block with parallel threaded holes (2) for a series of clamping screws (6) and blank holes (44), orthogonal to the threaded holes, for the cables. The two halves of the block locate via pins (7) and holes (8) and are held together by screws or bolts connecting their end flaps. The cables are inserted through the blank holes and clamped to the block by the screws in the threaded holes. The block can be mounted onto a housing wall etc. by means of the screws that hold the two halves of the block together.
