A hot water production device for heating and domestic hot water supply, has a container (1) which acts as reservoir for directly heated domestic hot supply water and a heat exchanger device (4) inside the container as an indirect heating unit for a circulating flow of water for heating use. The upright container (1) has a group of fire tubes (2) which are surrounded by the heat exchanger spiral tube coil (4) within the container (1). The inner walls of the container (1) and the outer surfaces of the heat exchanger spiral coil (4) are enamelled as are the outer walls of the containers (1) and fire tubes (2) impinged on by the combusted heating gases.
