The multiple copying apparatus for sheet material uses the xerographic principle with ultra-violet light (UVL) reflected by a hollow mirror and passing onwards to the negative and a transparent objective lens of organic glass. The light beam impinges on the photo-conducting film of the plate. After exposure the plate is moved by a roller as each colour is selected. Another plate carries a previously prepared printing paper, which is pressed in contact by a movement transverse to the path of the photo-conducting film; the latter may be carried on the surface of a rotating drum.
