Trolley for towing vehicle - with servo operated hoist to lower support for towed vehicle wheels

The trolley has at least two wheels set on a common axle pivoted in a support frame on a crank axis. A single servo hydraulic cylinder (28) is operated to swing the wheels in the frame and lower the support plates (36) on either side of the trolley, onto the ground. In this sloping position the front wheels of the vehicle to be towed are winched onto the plates and secured. The hydraulic servo cylinder is operated again to raise the support plates to above the level of the wheels for normal towing. The system is simple to operate and requires no separate lifting jacks.
