Continuous cutting and trimming of poultry carcase legs - legs severed at ankles have feet bones sheared afterwards

A device for continuously cutting through the legs at the ankle joint of slaughtered fowl hanging up by their feet on conveyor transporting them to motorised circular cutters, has a second cutting arrangement installed behind the first, with a guide rail for lifting the severed feet still held by the conveyor, into contact with a spring loaded holding down rail, for a second cutting operation. Device mechanises the previously labour intensive separate operation of cutting through the toe bones.
