Artificial ski slope consisting of a snow like smooth and gripping sliding surface (1) with low friction sliding characteristics. The sliding surface is formed by cone-like or cone shaped sliding needles (2) which are erected with their thin ends vertically upwards. The artificial ski slope has a plane and smooth surface without gaps as a base (4). The cone shaped sliding needles are made of a length varying between 10 and 40 mm with their largest diameter varying between 3 and 10 mm. The cone shaped sliding needles are tapering off in a proportion from 5:1 to 18:1 as between length to size reduction.
