The machine is used for packaging coins of different denominations and diameters in one working operation. The present equipment has a rotating coin store (1) to which coins are delivered from gravity feed chutes. It comprises a number of coin dies in two sections, which are moved together to correspond to the diameter of the coin type to be stacked, the height of the stack being reached by stacking of individual die-sections. A carriage (2) with two cylinders and with two head sections is moved to a completed coin stack and the upper and lower cylinder moved towards one another to enclose the stack while it is wrapped in paper (6).
