Temperature control in the air-conditioning plant involves the use of a piston, activated by a pressure-medium, for the adjustment of a flap which regulates the flow of conditioned air, the activation here being provided by a fluid with a low boiling-point, creating vapour pressure, the fluid being heated in dependence on the room temperature. The fluid may be stored in a vessel (10) in contact with the cylinder (4) which contains the piston (5), or in the cylinder itself, and heating may be switched on with the aid of a room thermostat which is bimetal-regulated or working with a capillary sensor.
